A Solar Centre for Windhoek

The Solar Centre Windhoek has set itself the aim of promoting a sustainable and locally driven energy transition by making knowledge about solar energy accessible, practical and relevant to everyday decision-making. The project focuses on strengthening local capacity, empowering residents and supporting the city of Windhoek in expanding the use of renewable energy. Furthermore, the project contributes to global sustainability goals, including SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).
